Teaching Piano is the best job in the world...
…But it isn’t all roses.
Beginners quit.
Lessons get cancelled.
Parents chase makeup lessons. We get it.
And while you're pouring your heart into young musicians, big publishers take the profit — while you do all the work.
We think that’s backwards.
We can’t stop cancellations, but we can give you a stunning, branded method book your students (and their parents) will love.
It’s simple: order books printed with your logo, resell them to students, and keep up to 200% of your investment.
That’s not a supplier relationship — that’s a 50:50 partnership.
Music to your ears?
What are the books?
They’re thoughtfully designed, professionally printed method books — made to make you look good.
Each copy is branded with your logo, packed with beautifully structured content, and features QR codes linking to companion videos for students. And when you resell them, you keep the profit — up to 200% of your purchase price.
Because you're not just the teacher.
You're the reason it all works.
And it's about time the books reflected that
What quality are the books?
Every book is printed using a commercial printing press.
Each is presented on 128gsm coated silk paper so it's super easy to write on (and easy to erase those pencil markings!) and feels beautiful under the hand.
How do I earn any money from selling the books?
Simple — you buy your studio-branded books at a wholesale price, then resell them to students at full RRP.
For example:
📦 A 10-pack costs $349 (that’s $35 per student set).
💵 Resell each set for $65 (main book + supplementary book).
💰 That’s up to $291 profit per pack — or 200% return on your investment.
(Subject to minimum order quantities)
How do I get paid then?
Simple! We print and deliver them, and you sell the books directly to your students.
We do recommend an RRP in our purchase pack letter to teachers, but it isn't printed on the book directly so you're free to sell at whatever price you think is reasonable.
Who are you guys?
We’re teachers — just like you.
Master the Piano was created by a team of experienced music educators who were tired of overpriced, uninspiring books that made life harder, not easier. So we built something better: a structured, modern method that actually works in real studios, with real students.
We design every book ourselves, print them in-house on premium stock, and custom-brand each copy with your studio’s logo. No middlemen, no big publishing machine — just a fair, direct partnership that rewards the people doing the work: you.
Sounds good! I have one last question though...
Not a problem. We're a local Australian business and we care about teachers and music education. It's all we do.

About the Author

Daniel Sherwood – Music educator, composer, and champion for high standards in teaching.
Daniel has been teaching piano for over 23 years, having begun tutoring students at just 16. Today, he leads one of South Australia's largest privately-run music schools, with over 500 students and a team of 16 passionate educators. Across two decades, he’s taught hundreds of pianists—from nervous first-timers to advanced performers—and helped shape the musical journeys of students of all ages.
But Master the Piano didn’t start as a business idea. It started as a stack of worksheets he designed for his own students—born out of frustration at the lack of method books that felt modern, inspiring, or respectful of students’ intelligence. As he puts it:
“My daughter hated the childish illustrations in most books—and so did I. Kids deserve better than cartoons and cliches. If you treat them like mini-professionals, they rise to the challenge.”
At its core, Master the Piano reflects Daniel’s belief that students thrive when given the right tools, thoughtful structure, and high expectations. This method was built to help kids learn in a musically healthy, ambitious, and enjoyable way.
